Just so everyone knows, we are in the process of organizing a drive in St. Louis, and St Louis has a "community matching funds" program that brings down the fee for donors to $25 (from $52). Also, the information I've read says that should you be a match for someone, the bone marrow donation process is done under anesthesia, so it's not that painful in and of itself, although most people are sore for a few days. I'll be sure to get information to everyone once we have a time and a place.

Beach Memorial is hosting a Mobile Bone Marrow drive on Friday, November 16th' 2007.
This is just a simple cheek swab - nothing invasive - just to see if you are a match for someone
(Jillian or others on the registry). This is a FREE test - not the usual $50 test.
If you are interested, call the Blood Donor Center @ 562-933-0808 to make an appointment.
Appointments available from 10-4 that day.
The Blood Donor Center is located @ Long Beach Memorial, near the Main Lobby- by the Chapel.

Well if I were a smart one.. I would have read all the posts before I posted my other ones.. but *sigh* oh well! The photos are adorable. Hang in there... I know it's hard.. but if it means anything- it looks like you guys are keeping it together pretty well. Jillian is showing everyone how strong she is, that's for sure!
